Judging from the number of tweets and Facebook status updates I’ve read in the past 24 hours, the Olympic buzz is spreading rapidly around Vancity. In fact, some of us in the bakery* were exchanging stories about the torch relay and our own Olympic experiences thus far. I’m getting really excited about all the events that are happening leading up to Friday and I intend to soak in as much of the atmosphere as possible, starting tonight at the Richmond Ozone when the Olympic torch arrives. Then tomorrow night I will be at B.C. Place taking in the dress rehearsal of the opening ceremonies. That should be quite interesting as I just found out Raidernation will be one of many performers in the show! Now THAT’S special. Hope I get a chance to chat with him in the near future.
